At a recent committee meeting, the City of Greater Dandenong Band has decided to wind back the clock and once again begin using one of its previous logos as the official logo of the band.

This 'new' logo is the former crest of the City of Dandenong and once again reconfirms the band's allegiance with the community that it so proudly serves.

The logo, believed to be abondoned when the city amalgamated, is not being used by any other organisations within the city - and to ensure that it was not permanently lost to history, the band has decided to once again adopt it.

On the back of that, the band has ordered new uniform shirts with the logo which it will proudly wear for the first time at the upcoming national Championships in Adelaide.
